Before

It was a huge decision for Canadian Tire to undertake a makeover for

one of their flagship brands but it had to be done to accomplish brand consistency and increase quality perception. Inspired by retro automotive emblems, the new logo reinforces the heritage of the

80-year-old brand. Familiar colours and

treatment of product photography would help

to retain existing consumers, while the logo

with increased quality would help gain

new ones.
