Reaching far beyond the scope of expected product offerings like paper products or light bulbs, Blue Planet was the embodiment of Canadian Tire's dedication to providing their customers with environmentally responsible choices at shelf. The extensive product range includes everything from floor mats and laundry bins to batteries and stepstools and required a flexible design platform, name and tagline.

The refreshing color palette and single, hard hitting claims helped give this new brand credibility. Combined with a clean typeface and attention to whitespace, the design is uniquely contemporary in a category that often suffers from a negative ‘tree-hugger’ perception.
